Gastineau Tour 8-15-2015

Without further or due, these are for my people on the Photo Safari in Juneau on August 15th, 2015. Hope you guys enjoy!

We got some amazing weather, and some amazing sights and encounters with the wildlife! I've only seen a sea lion feeding on salmon like that twice! So I managed to snap a shot of a sea gull picking a piece of salmon up and flying off, scavenging from the sea lions kill. A wanted to share a couple of the sockeye salmon we got to see at the glacier as well, since the water clarity was absolutely phenomenal and the light was gorgeous. I also included one of the bonus whale-bows we got to see! Where the whale's breathe hits the sun light just right, and we get to see a whale rainbow. :)

I managed to capture a couple of the sea lions swimming along side of us as they did a little swim by, getting really close to check us out. It's interesting how one of them actually turns his/her mouth and opens the side of it to breathe! Very cool.

This was my last tour with Gastineau Guiding, and I'm back for my last semester of school. Thanks for sharing these moments with me, I certainly won't forget them!
